Where are they now?

Over 40 PFM Mooneys were produced in 1988 and 1989. There are around 10 still flying in original condition, 3 in Europe, 2 in Australia and 5 in USA.

Many were converted to Continental engines as part of the Modworks conversion programme.

During that period a number of planes were also destroyed by Hurricane Charley in August of 2004, as they awaited conversion at Punta Gorda in Florida.

At least 2 planes have been lost in flying accidents. See NTSB report N132MP 1993 and NTSB report N1024Z 2003.
